<Paper Log> Proposal of Player Communication System Pseudo-Synchronized with Game Progress

• A Pseudo-Synchronization experience similar to comments on Nico Nico Douga.

• Synchronized based on flags in a game.

  • In the second experiment, the time from the flags was also taken into consideration.

• Feedback received:

  • The comments were interesting.
  • The hints were helpful.
  • It felt like someone was watching and playing together.
  • It felt like there were predecessors.

• Applying (blu3mo)‘s definition of ”Sense of Time Sharing“:

  • It feels like sharing time with past players.
    • Because we are reliving past gameplay.
      • Actually, it’s not an accurate reliving because it’s based on flags, but users don’t realize that.
      • The lack of synchronization in the first experiment was because the users noticed that it wasn’t accurate.
